Facelift
Facelift is a procedure which is individualized as per your needs. The procedure may range from simple, minimally invasive techniques to more extensive face and neck lift procedures. The methods include traditional facelift and SMAS (Superficial Musculo-aponeurotic System) lift.
A traditional facelift involves correcting the mid-face, jows, and the neck and also removing the excess skin. You will be administered a general anesthesia and intravenous sedation. Your surgeon will make an incision in the front of the ear that extends behind the ear. Your surgeon tightens the underlying tissue removes excess skin and fat from the lower face and neck.
The SMAS lift involves elevating the skin and also the deeper layers of the face and the neck. Your surgeon makes a minimal incision in front of the ear, raises the SMAS and tightens the skin. The surgery lasts for about several hours. SMAS lift is the modern facelift technique. Your surgeon sutures or uses skin adhesives to close the incisions.
Breast Reduction
Breast Reduction surgery is also known as reduction mammoplasty. It is a plastic surgical procedure to reduce excess breast fat, skin, and glandular tissue to achieve a normal breast size that is proportionate to your body.
Before the surgery, your doctor will mark the future position of the nipple. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia. Your surgeon makes an incision around the nipple. In continuation with the incision, a straight vertical line is made in the breast crease and sometimes extended beneath the breast. The nipple should be kept in contact with blood and nerve supply. In some cases such as heavy breast may require a free nipple graft, where a nipple is removed and reattached at a higher point on the breast. Your doctor removes excess tissue, fat, and skin. Then, your breast tissue is stitched deep inside the breast tissue for support. Finally, the skin incisions are brought together and then closed.
Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion is a noninvasive procedure used to improve oily or dull skin, enlarged pores, mild acne scars, uneven pigmentation, and clogged pores. Generally, there are two methods for microdermabrasion; Crystal Microdermabrasion and Diamond-Tip Microdermabrasion.
During the Crystal Microdermabrasion procedure, a hand piece is used to emit the crystal onto the skin surface which results in a gentle abrasion process. Then the dead skin and the crystals are suctioned simultaneously. The Diamond-Tip Microdermabrasion procedure involves abrasion and exfoliation of the dead skin with the diamond-tip hand piece. This procedure is safer when performed closer to the eye. The advantages of microdermabrasion include immediate result with no pain and side effects, improved look for scars and acne.
Tummy tuck
Tummy tuck is a surgery which removes all the excess fat in the abdominal region giving a flat, smooth, firm and a well-toned abdomen. Tummy tuck surgery is also known as abdominoplasty. This surgery is performed to tuck the fat which is protruding from the abdomen. For women, who have stretched skin because of multiple pregnancies, can find it useful to tighten the muscles and reduce the excess skin in that area.
There are two kinds of tummy tuck surgery. They are Complete abdominoplasty and Partial or mini-abdominoplasty. The complete abdominoplasty is performed for people who require the maximum correction. In this test the incision will be made deep into the abdomen at the same level as that of the pubic hair. There will be an incision made around the belly button because it is necessary to remove the tissues from the navel. Drainage tubes will be placed which will be removed later. Partial abdominoplasty is performed on the patients who require shorter incisions. This is performed with the help of an endoscope. The entire procedure would take about 2 hours to complete.
